Id take slight issue with the hollow body answer. Ive had a 50s Gibson es225. Great guitars. Ive also recently had a Gibson es175. Okay guitars. Pretty good. However I much prefer my early 60s Gretsch 6117 and 6118. Less than half the price and sounds fantastic

Great Q&A. Can wholeheartedly agree with your comments about the ES225, very underrated and sustains really well and those P90s have got such a sweet warm tone. Also a vintage ES175 with replaced pickups isn't entirely a bad thing either, not a bad entry point into that model.

Love the old strats and the and the one with the under ground on and the white gretsch was very nice , I own a 1981 Gibson Les Paul standard cherry sunburst 43 years old and in mint condition is this now classed as vintage 🤔

Can`t go wrong with a Gibson Les Paul Junior or Special !

Those are all beautiful guitars. That 61 Strat and 68 Goldtop are my choices, but I wouldn’t say no to any of those. And they all look like they came out of museum or collection. Amazingly well preserved.

I have to ask (if I may pls), don't you do a full check before buying these instruments? You mention you are not sure about this or that and have to take a deeper look into things....for example the 1961 refin Strat extra pot' in the case. Love your videos :)
